- Dear Dad
As I sit back and reflect on the years that I’ve been on this spiritual journey, I can’t stop but think about how much it’s changed my life. If I were told about 10 years ago, this was the path that I would be taking, I would have laughed and not believed them. It’s something that I never considered would ever be a possibility during my lifetime. I wanted to take the time to write this blog post to give those who may be reading this, a glimpse/snippet, into being intuitively connected.
It’s very difficult to explain to others’ who haven’t experienced the level of connectedness with spirit, source, god, etc. How can you prove it if it’s not even tangible? Many people, including myself, have these experiences every day; often misconstrued for mental health concerns, being lazy, being withdrawn, being misunderstood, among other things when adapting a spiritual lifestyle with mainstream society.
When I talk to others’ about my gift, there is always a question that comes up that fascinates me. I’m regularly asked if connecting with the other side is a scary experience; as those I am speaking with disclose that they would be completely terrified with what I do – even the minor experiences they witness freak them out. Simply put, like I say with everyone who asks: I have had a few moments where it wasn’t pleasant connecting, but for the most part – I haven’t feared working with the other side. I wonder if it attributes to the childlike mindset approach I have taken throughout this journey; just being open to the experiences and trusting that I am being protected and guided.
With this being said, it doesn’t mean that this gift doesn’t come with its ups and downs. I have experienced my fair share, and continue to, experience anxiety and at times panic attacks. It’s the universal energies such as the collective, full moons, new moons, eclipses, etc. that can affect those who are intuitively inclined. The most important self-care ritual known as “sleep” can majorly disrupt the sleeping cycle. All these preventative tips/practices and sometimes even prescribed medications aren’t enough to help with restlessness, anxiousness, mental alertness, etc.
Connectedness is experienced by everyone, but through varying degrees.
If I had a nickel for every time I said this statement: “I wish I had a USB port to plug into a TV or Computer to show others’ what I’m seeing and experiencing.” – I’d be very rich! It’s rather fascinating with what I sense and the visions that I receive on a daily basis; as spirit communicates through our senses: sight, hearing, touch, smell, and taste. They also can communicate through the minds eye (third eye) for which the visions take place; its like a movie or dream taking place, but while you’re awake.
There are so many things that I wish that I could share with you right now! I want to provide blogs that are in bite-sized chunks instead of writing an over extended blurb that most people won’t want to sit down to read – heck that’s me; plus this wouldn’t be an introduction if I kept going on and on …….
I would love for you all to follow along with future posts to hear all about my experiences, thoughts, and more with what I do as a Spiritual Advisor. I want to break the misconceptions that most people have with being intuitively connected for various reasons …. that’s a whole other story! Please join me on this new Blog adventure, and feel free to drop a comment, so I can hear what you think!
With Gratitude,
